MIFF *Featured Article

Melbourne International Film Festival is back again, and as always it promises to deliver some beauties. This annual event is always a popular treat, spanning over a three week period, showcasing over 300 films of shorts, docos, dramas, animations and anything more a film buff could dream of. There is something to choose from for all tastes of genre. My favourite pics of the festival are BoyHood, Clara and the Bears, Cutsnake & Berkley

* A small fact of the festival- the remake of 1982 Brian Trenchard-Smith's film Turkey Shoot, will preview at Miff this year under the new title Turkey Shoot Reloaded, and I am lucky enough to have my name credited alongside it. Working on the film at the start of the year, it will be exciting to see how the final piece will appear on screen With lead actor Dominique Purcell running around shirtless for majority of the film, if it's action packed fiction you like this futurist remake by John Hewitt should be a doozie.
