Melbourne's food vans are an ever growing novelty of this crazy cultured life we live, and if you are yet to experience one, why not experience 4 at once! It does make it difficult in deciding what to try, but why not get something from each as they all have their own unique flavours. Ormond hall hosts Trailer Park weekends, alternating which food vans get to win a spot at the popular court yard in St Kilda. With these vans spreading themselves out all over Melbourne its a challenge in itself to know where to find one, let alone 4 in the same spot!

Welcome to My Backyard

You might have heard, but Melbourne is quoted one of the most liveable cities in the world, and for the past 4 years I have been lucky enough to say I have lived here. From the barista experts, talented street artists down hoiser lane and everywhere else, free festivals of every kind, Burke street mall buskers with actual talent, where brunch is an actual meal, and a city that encourages you to wonder down lonely alleyways. What ever it is I have only just started to uncover the unique, hidden culture this lively city has to offer which I wanted to share with you all. This city has so much to offer, and some of the best places are the accidental finds I stumbled across whilst trying to find another venue. These hidden gems are what makes Melbourne special and I'm going to share with you my finds. But don't get me wrong, I do love the city! but every know and then I like to escape the busy crowded lifestyle and drive out to the country side to breath in some fresh air. You don't have to travel far out of Melbourne to find some great hikes, wineries, snow, beaches you name it.

My blog is going to bring you the best of both worlds. Because life should be about exploring and going on adventures.
